The vision of Mundy's Mill High School Band and Clayton County Public Schools is to prepare ALL graduates to have the skills to pursue and accomplish college, post-secondary training, and/or career opportunities in order to live and compete successfully in a global society.
The mission of Clayton County Public Schools is to empower scholars to achieve academic, professional, and personal goals by providing equitable access and experiences that build skills in literacy, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
Lewis Sharpe
Director of Bands
My aim as your director is to motivate and challenge each member of our team to achieve their utmost potential. We will collaborate to produce exceptional music, cultivate strong teamwork, and make an indelible impact on our audience. It's important to acknowledge that success requires perseverance, hard work, and a willingness to venture beyond our comfort zones. Let us be patient with ourselves and one another, and confidently embrace every opportunity that presents itself; whether it be a solo performance, or a leadership role, every experience helps us grow both as musicians and as individuals.
As we progress, we must remember that we are not just a band, but a family that supports, encourages, and celebrates each other's achievements. I am overjoyed to be part of this family, and I look forward to all that we can achieve together. Let us commence this journey with enthusiasm and devoted effort, and we can create something spectacular.

The band council comprises section leaders, drum majors, and auxiliary who are not only exceptional musicians but also high-achieving scholastic students. They exemplify ideals as role models within the band and are dedicated to serving their peers.
